| Lizard on a grass tree |
This lizard was in the dead leaves below the crown of that grass tree. Bryony Fremlin tells me that it is a Fence Skink Cryptoblepharus buchananii.
I love grass trees, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xanthorrhoea, they are the most iconic plant of Western Australia. This time we were lucky to see them in bloom.
